Well it's been quite some time since I've  participated  in FBFF, but I figured now was as good a time to jump back in as any. This week we're talking about community and interaction in blogging, and how it affects bloggers. 1. What blogging communities do you belong to? Currently I'm a member of Independent Fashion Bloggers , Fashion/Beauty Friend Friday (when I remember!) and I recently joined Blog Trends , which has been amazing for interacting with new bloggers and getting different perspectives.  2. What role do you think community plays in blogging? I think that's up to the individual blogger. Stats and comments are not a good measure of the quality of content, just the popularity of the blogger, so it's really up to the blogger to decide how they want to engage with the larger community or whether to remove themselves from it entirely. This week at FBFF, we're talking about One-Time Wear Disease. Sound scary? It's not, but it might be scaring your bank account. In the blogosphere, many style bloggers never seem to wear the same thing twice, and it's given them a bad rap. Today we're talking about our own habits with clothes, and how we get around the predictability of a static wardrobe. 1. Are you a one-time wearer? Ha! I wish! I can't afford to be a one time wearer, and even if I could, I don't think I'd want to be. When you find that perfect piece that flatters you and complements your wardrobe, you want to work it in as many times as you can. I love finding pieces that I know are versatile and can work with what's already in my closet. As you make you new purchases, you increase the number of fashionable combinations you can come up with. Why would you want to limit yourself to a specific season's haul? Not to mention, where would all the clothes you've worn GO  exactly? Not...

Blogger: blogger gets a bad rep, but I've never had any problems, and I doubt I'll ever switch my CMS. I haven't participated in FBFF in months, and I'm happy to get back on the train for the new year. Friend Friday is not going to be monthly instead of weekly, and for January, with Fashion Week around the corner, we're talking about reacting to new trends. Onto the fun times! It's pretty, and I actually really like it, but I could never go out in public in this getup.  1. With Fashion Week around the corner we're all beginning to focus on the upcoming trends for fall. But what are you coveting right now? Honestly, not much. Although I love shopping, I've never been one to follow trends religiously. I tend to get new pieces if I happen to be in the vicinity of something cute and affordable, or if I need something specific. I haven't been shopping "just because" in months.
